From that Angle

In Boston Common,
during Memorial Weekend —

Photography teachers should be happy to observe that photographers of all kinds nowadays are looking for that special angle: deviating from eye level, going down, placing their smartphones on the ground… No inconvenience is too big to get that aspired shot. Good for them, good for us!

This picture is the result of an out-of-camera JPEG with PROVIA film simulation. I must have had a proper exposure to keep the sunshine on the photographers as well as the cloudy sky within the range — with my usual -1/3 or -2/3 of compensation. The composition was finalized with the LR cropping. The other post-processing “interference” was the removal of the tip of a branch intruding to the sky, visible even from that angle.
